Care in the Community

Want to join our team?

We are always looking for conscientious, caring individuals to join us in making other people's lives that bit easier.

The Role

Carers are central to the success of our business in meeting and ever improving the high standards of care we provide through:

  • Providing a high quality care service to all Clients
  • Working in co-operation with members of multi-disciplinary health teams where necessary
  • Encouraging a model of self-care and Client rehabilitation

The role is very rewarding and you will manage yourself whilst visiting clients and reporting back into the office. We have an open door policy and always welcome our carers into the office whenever they feel the need, priding ourselves on being a very friendly organisation which has a family atmosphere.

We have positions with various hours, although 16 hours per week is a minimum. As we continue to grow additional hours are normally available for those that would like them. Our operation is 7 days a week, with Carers working 5 days a week with alternate weekends. Carers work on a rota basis with visits grouped in to three time slots covering Morning (earliest start 07:00), Lunchtime and Tea / Evening visits (last bed visit at 21:30).

Carers are allocated to work in one of our areas so that they build up a closer relationship with our Clients and their colleagues. It also has the benefit of reducing your travelling time and associated mileage.

The Reward

We care about our carers just as much as the clients and this is reflected in our working conditions and hourly pay. To provide the very best care to our clients we know we need a high quality team so we aim to offer one of the best packages available to our carers:

  • Excellent rates of pay (starting at £9.00 per hour) with overtime rates for bank holidays and special days. We operate a monthly payroll.
  • 28 days holiday plus 1 additional day for your birthday
  • Uniform and ID badge
  • Mileage paid for when travelling between visits
  • Company pension

We offer full training in Adult Social Care so experience is not essential and it will require commitment from you to complete your training but full support will always be offered and you'll be greeted over the phone with a smile, no matter how small the issue.

Applicants are required to have a full driving licence and their own reliable transport. All employment offers will be subject to reference and DBS checks.
